June 30: A Day of Fun and Food

On June 30, head to Downtown's Spirit Square at 5 pm for a traditional salmon barbecue and the Downtown Tyee Chevrolet Buick GMC Car Show. The evening continues with a lively performance by Completely Creedence, a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, starting at 7 pm.

July 1: A Day Full of Events

The main events on July 1 kick off early with activities across Campbell River. Willow Point's festivities begin at 8 am with a pancake breakfast and music by Doug Folkins at Frank James Park. The Sybil Andrews Cottage will host the Bonsai Club and artist in residence Shawn Decaire from 9 am. Highlights include the Legion Pipe Band at 11:45 am and the Canada Day Cake at 12:30 pm.

At Discovery Pier, families can enjoy the Huck Finn & Small Fry Fishing Adventure from 9 am to 12 pm. The Discovery Passage Aquarium and Maritime Heritage Centre will open at 10 am, and 49 North will offer helicopter rides from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Sportsplex will host the Mike McInnes Skateboard Competition from 12 pm to 4 pm, and the Community Centre will feature a Kids Street Fest from 10 am to 2:30 pm.

Shopper’s Row and Robert Ostler Park

Events at Shopper’s Row and Robert Ostler Park will begin at 12 pm with another salmon barbecue and a Canada Day marketplace featuring local vendors. Spirit Square will host the "Local All-Star Stage" from 11 am to 3 pm, and the River Stage in Ostler Park will have live performances from 2 pm to 10:15 pm.

The day’s events will culminate with the official opening ceremony and cake at Robert Ostler Park at 6 pm, followed by the much-anticipated fireworks display at 10:22 pm.
